motorcycle collision reconstruction

This accident reconstruction training course is a 40 hour course. Attendees must have completed an Advanced Technical Collision Investigation-Level II course prior to taking this course.
The following topics will be covered:
- Interpreting marks level by motorcycles at crash scenes
- Sliding motorcycle friction values
- Pedestrian friction values
- Motorcycle brake systems
- Articulated vehicle issues
- Crush damage analysis using frontal fork deformation
- Momentum / energy in collisions
- Center of mass calculations
Weather permitting, one day will be devoted to motorcycle acceleration and brake testing. Testing will be done of motorcycle sliding.
