Level 2 - Advanced technical collision investigation
Description
This is the second level of instruction in accident reconstruction training. Level I is a prerequisite for this course. During this two week (80 hours) of course instruction, the following topics will be covered:
- In depth coverage of time and distance analysis as it applies to crash investigations
- Advanced airborne equations
- Crush damage analysis
- Linear parameter measurement system
- Vehicle dynamics
- Occupant kinematics
- Conservation of linear momentum
- Vehicle system failures
- Introduction to automobile vs. pedestrian collision analysis
